Great news, I spoke to my contact at VisionX and he told me that the Truck Bed LED Light Kit # HIL-TRUCK4W has a total of 6 watts which is about 48 Lumens. If by frequency you meant the Kelvin temperature, then it has a temperature of 6,000K.

As for the legality of it, that really depends on how the law is interpreted. With the Pollak Heavy-Duty, 7-Pole, Round Pin Trailer Wiring Socket # PK11720 it does not have a pin for a trailer brake controller as the commercial/agricultural trailers it connects to will tie into the air brakes on the truck. If you converted the auxiliary pin to use as a brake control wire you would still need to add a charge line circuit wire to maintain the breakaway battery on the trailer.

I strongly recommend making sure that you use dielectric grease like part # 11755 to make sure you are receiving the best chance for the proper amount of current with your wiring. The answer to your question will depend on how tall the toolbox sits over the top of the bed and how far back into the bed the toolbox goes. The easiest thing to do would be to take a length of string, tape it to the underside of the 3rd taillight lens and run the other end to the top of the gooseneck ball, or to a point about 3 inches above the truck bed centered over the center of the rear axle. There are a couple of ways you can run the wires for the Bully Light Bar, part # BLS-1103. The easiest way would be to attach the light bar wiring to the wiring you have at the rear of your fifth wheel trailer. That is if you can access the wiring easy enough either by getting to the wires under your trailer or by removing the lights and getting to the wiring behind them.

It looks like you're on the right track. The # PP20-702 module will separate the brake signal out from the turn signals and the # 277-000143 can be plugged into the 7-way in your truck bed and will provide access to the turn signal circuits for the module, as well as a constant 12V circuit.

If your 2009 Toyota Tundra came with the factory tow package, then it should have a 7-way round trailer connector attached to the bottom of the rear bumper to the left of the trailer hitch (see photo). I recommend looking at the back of your truck to see if you have the factory 7-way trailer connector.

I can certainly help shed some light on the situation. I also am not aware of any app that calculates turning clearance. If only it were so easy right? If you have the option to purchase a long bed truck, that would be preferred. That way you will never have to worry about clearance. Also, GMC offers an OEM 5th wheel prep package, which would make your life a lot easier. Otherwise you will need to install a rail kit like the # BWRVK2505.

Turning clearance is always going to be best with a long bed truck. Trucks with long beds are more designed for towing, and there are less of them on the market today because more people are buying trucks for reasons other than towing. If I were choosing a bed length to tow a 5th wheel camper, I would definitely go with a long bed because it will most easily offer sufficient turning clearance.
